Career Journey
My experience covers the complete commercial crop cycle: seed selection and propagation, greenhouse preparation and planting, crop establishment, daily growing, harvesting, crop removal, sanitation, season review, and preparation for the next production cycle.
International Experience
I have worked with greenhouse operations in Turkey, Georgia, Finland, Kazakhstan, and Sweden, including work within the international FoodVentures environment. I adapt cultivation and operational decisions to different production systems, climates, and business needs.
I am Ceyhun Cihan, an international greenhouse horticulture professional with more than 15 years of industry experience. I started in the greenhouse sector in 2010–2011 and developed my career through hands-on roles including intern, agricultural technician, Production Manager, Senior Grower, and broader greenhouse leadership and management responsibilities.

I combine practical plant knowledge, technical greenhouse management, data-driven growing, team leadership, operational planning, and business-level decision-making. I value accurate observation, teamwork, responsible production, continuous learning, and clear follow-up.
My Professional Philosophy
A greenhouse is a connected system. Climate affects transpiration; transpiration influences water and nutrient uptake; these influence plant balance, fruit development, and production. Technology and data are valuable when they are interpreted through real growing experience and converted into appropriate actions.
